abortion support (in person & virtual)
I offer free, or pay-what-you-can abortion support for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community members. Abortion care can look like driving you to and from clinic for a surgical procedure, or supporting you at home with an at-home medical abortion. It looks like helping you navigate getting funding for your abortion, or assisting in travel plans for folks out of state seeing Washington care. Much of my in-person abortion support looks like postpartum care— herbs for emotional and physical well-being, cooking nourishing meals, and making sure that you are comfortable. We can talk through what is and isn’t normal, and I can be there as an emotional support person through what may arise around this process. Abortions, like any major transition in our lives, deserves ceremony and witness, in a way that is meaningful to you. We deserve access to comprehensive abortion care, whether our abortions are by choice, medically necessary, and/or complicated decisions. When a pregnancy is released, no matter how many weeks, we are still postpartum, and deserve to be tended to through the transformative process of that time deeply and fully.
I can offer virtual or in-person support for abortion care. If you are worried about contacting me via text/email, and would like to contact me through a secure, encrypted platform, please message me on signal @moonmoon.22

Know Your Abortion Rights (Washington)
You do not need consent from a parent, guardian, or partner to have an abortion
People of any age can choose or refuse to have an abortion. If you use your health insurance, the person who holds the insurance account (like a parent) may be sent information about your abortion. (Click here for privacy information around abortions).
Abortion is legal in Washington, regardless of immigration status.
People from outside Washington can receive abortion care here. You do not need to be a legal resident of WA or a citizen of the United States.
WA state law enforcement and courts are not allowed to help other states with investigations or legal actions if you get abortion care in WA.
If you are undocumented, out-of-state, are a survivor of domestic violence, LGBTQIA+, military, disabled, under 18, or a student, please click here for more information about your abortion rights
Beware of Fake Clinics
There are many organizations or clinics that call themselves “crisis pregnancy centers” or “women’s health centers” that are actually anti-abortion counseling centers that aim to pressure people to carry a pregnancy. They are purposefully sneaky, and target pregnant people who are seeking abortion care. They are not HIPAA regulated because most of them are not actual medical clinics.
